Why Make Bags?

Our goal in making our own line of cornhole bags was two fold:

1. Our team has thrown, sold and evaluated hundreds of different sets of bags over the years. We've learned a lot about what makes a great bag and we wanted to put that information to good use and make some truly amazing bags for our customers (and for us!)

2. We wanted to not only make high end, professional quality bags, but we wanted to do so at a more affordable price to help customers get what they need and not have to spend so much of their hard earned cash! You might have noticed this is a desire we carry into all our products. This is our "Players Over Profits" mentality.

About the Bags

Our bags have gone through round after round of research and development. We have carefully chosen every detail and they are made with quality and playability in mind. Here are some of the characteristics you will find in our bags:

1. Template Size: We have chosen to employ a smaller template size for these bags. Why? Because the larger the template, the more bag is outside your hand and the more potential for that excess fill and bag area to shift while throwing. A smaller template means these bags will be far less susceptible to shifting from your intended target allowing you better control over your aim and more success in your game.

2. Bag Thickness: We use a combination of identical size fills that are lighter and heavier to make sure the thickness of these bags are just right. Our goal was to create a bag that didn't feel over-stuffed. Over-stuffed bags are hole-cloggers and tend to bounce more. We also didn't want bags that were too floppy because floppy bags can affect your aim as well. We have designed these to be just full enough to grip, but loose enough that they are super hole friendly.

3. Fill: Probably the most difficult part of designing these bags was locating the right fill. There are a variety of fills available and many have been declining in recent years. The fill we are using is a smaller size fill that makes our bags more prone to shifting inside to allow them to slide easier into the hole (like sand inside an hour glass). We use a fill that is far less prone to creating powder as it breaks down. Powdery fills are becoming more and more common among bag makers and this powder embeds into the fabric affecting the friction and speed of a bag as well as leaving residue on the boards affecting other bags. Ours won't do this.

4. Fabrics: This isn't really rocket science. This is probably the least difficult part of bag making. At this point, we all know what materials are generally seen on cornhole bags and bag makers generally purchase from the same fabric pools. We have chosen some of the favorite and most effective fabrics in the game. Pairing those fabrics with the details above, is what makes our bags magical.

5. Bag Art: Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We are trying to not just make bags that are effective, but also bags that make you proud to throw them. We put so much effort into calibrating our digital art to the sublimation printer so that it comes out looking vibrant and amazing. We will continue to release new looks and designs that hopefully give our customers many options for their own taste. This is a labor of love, and we do it for you.

To Stamp or Not to Stamp...

Our bags are considered "unstamped" bags. That means we have chosen not to align at the moment with a league that requires stamped bags. We do this with good reason.

First, our goal is to make professional level bags at a better price. The majority of our customers play mainly in local tournaments and in their backyards with friends. Local tournaments in most areas don't required stamped bags from a national or state league. When you stamp a bag, the league who provides that stamp requires a LOT of money. This in turn means that the bag company must now raise their prices to accommodate the profits of this league. Why pay extra for the same bags when most of the time and maybe all of the time you aren't required to throw stamped bags? Well, we want to provide an option for those who don't need a stamped bag, and just want a great set they can truly trust at a great price.

Second, often these leagues force you to give up control over various aspects of your cornhole brand including profits on other things that are sold which are not bags. We do not want to lose control over providing the best quality products at the lowest prices. It's just not worth it to us.

Rest assured, we follow the criteria of what makes a bag legal in all the national leagues. We have designed our bags to meet those expectations, and we don't cut corners. Our goal is to make bags that are as good or better than anything else on the market, but at a better price.

Does this mean we will never add stamps to our bags? We won't say never, but the only way it will make sense is if we can still provide a great product at a low price without compromising the mission of our brand. Our customers are important to us and will remain so with every decision we make.
