OUR STORY

Solving a Problem

We were once customers just like you. Cornhole players looking for great gear to support our love of the game. We were often frustrated by the cheap quality of the gear we purchased and the lack of customer service we encountered. Many times we would order and wait for what felt like an eternity for our order to ship. It was a regular occurrence reaching out to customer service and not hearing back for days or weeks, if at all. It felt like many companies only cared about our money and once they had it, they disappeared.

A Better Way

It should be possible to get higher quality gear at affordable prices from companies who actually care about their customers, right? The more we struggled with these issues. the more we started to feel like we could do a better job. So, we started dreaming about what it would look like to build a cornhole brand that put players first... a company focused on making players feel valued and cared about.

Starting Out Right

Before we came up with the name for this new cornhole brand or what we would even sell, we sat down to figure out what we would be ABOUT. What was important to us as customers that we wanted to be a priority for this new company? What we came up with was the 4-Pillar Mission statement seen at the top of this page. Those 4 Pillars were:

  1. High Quality
  2. Low Prices
  3. Fast Shipping
  4. Amazing Customer Service

If some brand could nail those four things, we felt like we would totally want to buy from them. Usually the best quality, fastest shipping, and prioritizing customers service would also come at a higher price....which makes sense. Doing those three things well costs a company more money. However, we wanted to be different. We knew it would require some sacrifice, but in the end, who wouldn't want to buy a product that was both the best option and also the least expensive option? It's not a recipe for getting rich quick, but it IS the right way to treat people and that's our goal...take care of customers FIRST.

First Steps

Now that we had a mission statement, the first order of business was to come up with a name for this new brand and to pick the first products we would tackle.

After a lot of back and forth, we landed on a name that would convey the competitive nature of our players/customers as well as our desire to be the best and most trusted brand. From this desire, IN THE BAG CORNHOLE was born. There is an unapologetic confidence in the phrase "It's in the bag!" There's no question, no concern, no worries. You know you got this and you're confidently ready to move forward to secure the win. And that's the feeling we want for our customers when they purchase from us. When you want the very best....It's "In The Bag!"

The Birth of the Bag Pouch

We are all about tackling problems players face by providing better solutions. One of the most glaring issues we saw was with the existing options for carrying a single set of bags alone or inside a ZUCA or backpack. We had purchased every option there was and they all fell short in some way. This seemed like a perfect way to say hello to the cornhole world. So we set out to solve all the issues we saw with single set cornhole bag carriers. And after many prototypes and adjustments, the Bag Pouch was born! These new bag pouches would fit a single set of bags so perfectly, there would be no more wasted space. Prior to this, many bags were carried in repurposed makeup and toiletry cases which locked in moisture which was bad for cornhole bags. So we added mesh to ours. We wanted players to easily be able to use these in a Zuca and a backpack, so we made two handles. One for carrying and one for pulling it out of a ZUCA. And we added a label that tells you what set of bags is inside. We made that label removable so you can use it on the top handle for backpacks or the side handle for ZUCAs. And finally we chose materials and zippers that would last forever and allow for awesome, vibrant colors.

The Future and Beyond

The Bag Pouch was an overnight success. It showed us that customers really did value better gear for their game. The love we received from our new customers fueled us to get to work on better options for all the gear players needed. This included a better way to purchase Zuca rolling carts with the lowest prices, FREE shipping and great add on deals. We got to work on a better cornhole backpack with a higher level of quality we could trust to truly last. We designed a better solution for protecting your expensive cornhole boards as well as transporting them without breaking your back. Then came our Cooler Pouch for keeping drinks cold, bag tools to repair your worn cornhole bags, our innovative Bag Sling. We even created and curated the best selection of patches in the sport!

Though we can't see into the future, we do know this. We will continue to work hard coming up with better solutions for players, and we will stand by those products and by our customers... We are proud to be part of the great state of Idaho. Located in the state capitol of Boise, In The Bag Cornhole is able to get shipments to you faster since there are no regional transfers before our shipments leave the state on their way to you!

If you leave the chat you will receive a response via email. But it's a good idea to stick around for a couple minutes as we often reply quickly, depending on the time of day.

  3. CONTACT FORM: In the menu at the top of our website, just click "Contact". Fill out the form and we will reply to you via email. And yes, we really to reply to our contact us form.

On average, customers receive replies from us within minutes/hours, not days/weeks like you might be used to. Obviously this can depend on the time and the day of the week. If you haven't heard back within 24 hours though, feel free to ping us again or try one of the other methods above.
